When at the flying lessons press (A) at the start when the countdown reaches "1". Note: Timing is critical.
Switch spell or potion easilyTo switch or potions and or spells faster, press [Select] and push the button that is assigned to your spell or potion.
Beat The BasiliskHave the selected spell as Inciendio. This should do more damage than Flipendo. When you enter the chamber, Fawks should "take" his eyes, making him blind. When he goes in a circle, continuously cast Inciendio. Make sure he does not touch you, or you will be poisoned. Watch out when he makes rocks come down and dodge his spit. This may take awhile, but you will eventually defeat him.
Submitted By: GabriellaGet Quick BeansWhen you get your Nimbus 2000 you can fly above hogwarts and go through rings. A blue ring is 10 beans a yellow ring is 1 bean and a red ring is 3 and a green ring is 2.
Quick Wizard CardsYou can find fast wizard cards in the Burrow and Diagon Ally. Look for chests. And a very fast way is doin Neville's games. Mostly Broom racing. It costs beans for Racing and Gnome Tossing but it doesn't for Gnome Dunking.
Stop Prefects from Catching YouIf you walk into a room full of prefects, use a balloon to make them have a look. Meanwhile, RUN!! Another way is if they come near you, use a stink pellet. If you have expelliarmus, use it when the prefects use locomotomortis.
Win BroomstickOn the second day of school it tells you to go to the Quidditch practice, so go there. Now. Complete the training and get a B or higher, and the captain guy gives you a free Nimbus 2000 flying broomstick! You can fly anywhere around the school, only in day-light. You can't land anywhere except where you took off from. (Note: You can't fly in the school!)
Beat PeevesWhen facing Peeves in Restricted section of the library, use a full force Flipendo spell on him first to make him hide in armor suits. When he hides, immediately use a full force Flipendo spell on the armor suit where he hides. It will be destroyed. Be careful, as it sometimes gives off Dungbombs which costs 3 points of life. Repeat the steps, as there are four armor suits. When all are destroyed, use a full force Flipendo spell again on Peeves until he gives up.
Secret room in portrait hallGo towards the end of the portrait hall. You will see a metal chain door. In order to open it, search for the lever or switch near the door by pressing (A) (Action). When it shows up, press "A "button again besides the switch to open the chain door. Enter it to find the second card from your Charms collection.
Gemstones to open the doorGemstone 1:
In the first chest box near the slugs.
Gemstone 2:
Defeat all three Fire Turtles.
Gemstone 3:
In the box next to the switch that activates the crushers.
Gemstone 4:
In gem cart near were the mine carrying cart that takes you out is located.
Gemstone 5:
In boulder. To get out, turn on crusher, put the boulder under it, and turn the crusher switch.

First card: Found during your Leviosa Challenge.
Second card: Secret room in portrait hall.
Third card: Room in Flitwick's office.
Fourth card: Secret room, corner of Gryffindor common room where you light torches with incendio to open a wall.
Fifth card: Bonus room in portrait hall, with male portrait.

Portrait Room: Female Portrait.
When you leave the common room at night for missions, you can sneak past the prefect outside the picture easily. Once you walk outside the picture, walk to the left of the picture. Keep walking until you find a bookcase. You should be able to crawl under the bookcase and into a hidden passageway. If you take your first right, you will be in a little room with a locked chest. Use Alohamora on it to get a wizard card. Go outside this room and follow the spiral staircase until you find a button. Push it and you will end up on the fourth floor outside a bookcase.
Find the crystals and batle the Giant FirecrabSome of the crystals are in icicles.So use the flipendo spell to get it.Some are in carts, so use the B button. Also some you must destroy the creatures or beast.The last one you must open a little deathtrap. There is a boulder or rock you must roll it under the deathtrap and go to the lever and mush the rock and the last crystal will be there.Now go to the hole by the goblin and you will see a giant crystal and the vault will open and you will battle a giant firecrab.To defeat it you will use a full blast of Flipendo 6-10 times.
TradeStart in diagon alley in the quidditch shop.Buy Chudley-cannons shirt. You give it to Ron when you have bought it. He will give you a baseballcard. Give it to the boy in the card shop. He gives you a wrongprinted card. Give it to a paint on the 6th floor in Hogwarts. The paint gives you a little spider. Give it to hagrid.He gives you a necklace. Give it to Filch and he will give you a lockhart photo. Give it to a girl on the 3rd floor. She will give you a flashlight. Give it to a boy in a classroom on the 5th floor. He will give you a mouth organ. Give it to a boy in the musicclassroom. He give you a whistle.Give it to prof. Binns and he will give you the best armor in the game
