Take a quick one-time shot at Shere Khan to end the game. Begin a normal game, then press Start to pause. Now press A, C, A, C, A, C, A, C, B, B, B, and B. If you did thetrick correctly, you'll hear a "Ya" sound. You'll now have one chance at beating Shere Khan, but if you fail, you'll be returnedto the beginning of the game
10 SECONDS MORE
Begin a normal game, then press Start to pause. Press A, B, B, A, A, B, B, and A. If you did the trick right, you'll hear a laughing sound. STAGE SKIP

For some surreal fun, punch in Left, A, Right, Down,B, A, Left, Left, C, Right, Up, Down (Lard Ball Crud?) at the pause screen. The game will reset and you'll find that when yourestart the game, all of the characters will be upside down

Try A, B, B, A, C, A, B, and B to change the screen into different colors. The last color will be blood red
JUMP AHEAD
To start near King Louie, pause the game, and press Left, Up, A, Left, Up, and A. To start next to the Witch DoctorMonkeys, press Right, A, Down, B, A, and Down
DEBUG MODE
To get to the Debug Menu, you have to be on the firstlevel, "Jungle by Day". Run all the way to the right until you reach the briar patch. You'll know you're there when Mowgli recoils from the edge of the precipice. Do a leap of faith, butpause the game right before you're about to die. With the gamepaused, enter the code: B, A, Down, C, Right, A, B, Left, A, Right, Down, B, A, Left, Left, C, Up, Right, and Left (that spells Bad Crab Lard Ball Curl). If you did the code correctly,the screen will immediately change to the debug menu. In addition to a level select that you can change by moving the controller Left or Right, there are eight different debug features that you can change. To get back to the debug screenwithout having to do the code again, just hit the Reset buttonon your Genesis. Map View Mode lets you scroll around the levelto see all the different areas. No energy loss, your energy meter will go down, but you won't die. Infinite lives, self explanatory. Infinite time. Simple gem mode, you only need tofind one gem to complete a level. Force bonus level, you'll get a bonus level after each round. Palette editor, weird numbersshow up on the screen. Solid floor, you won't fall into any chasm
ENDING
To see the end of the game, press Start to pause and enterthe code: B, A, Down, C, A, Right, Left, A, Right, and Down (thatspells Bad, Car, Lard)
SKIP TO END
To skip to the last level, pause the game at any timeand press A, C, A, C, A, C, A, C, B, B, B, and B. You'll be warped to the last level, but if you die even once, the game ends and you'll have to start all over again
HARDER GAME
For a much harder game, pause the game at any time and press A, B, B, A, A, B, B, and A. Now run for it! You've only got 10 seconds to finish the level you're on.START NEXT TO BALOOO- Press B, A, Left, Up, and Up

EXTRA LIVES
If Mowgli's lost his last life, this trick will get him back in shape. As Mowgli starts to die, press Start to pausethe game. Now press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, and A. Mowgli will yell "Yeah!" and will return to full health with 3 lives remaining
